This system is a web-based Student Management System that enables schools to manage their operations and their student information more easily.

The System

Alchemy is building a new generation of student management system, to replace Schola's existing product in 2009.

Schola’s new SMS product design is guided by a reference group of sector practitioners. It will provide schools with the ability to manage their operations and support learning in an integrated way.

Features include:

• single point of entry for all student-related data
• suitable for needs of ECE, primary and secondary schools
• web-based, no installation on users' computers
• will conform to all mandatory MoE requirements for data sharing
• server software built in open source technologies, allowing a range of hosting environments (Windows, MacOS and Linux.

• 24 x 7 hosting and data backup looked after by a data centre, with an option to host in the school.
